http:www.caldancecoop.org
Go here, if you are interested in any ECD balls outside of Las Vegas. There also are some wonderful special Contra programs offered during the year, making a trip down I15 well worth your time. You can even get back to back Friday and Saturday Contra dancing to live bands.

Dancing on the Edge (Contra & English Country Dance Weekend)
http://www.dancingcampers.org 2012's camp was on Friday June 15-17 and our Las Vegas group was well represented!!!
We have to cross our fingers if 2016 will be possible.

This Camp has offered magnificent musicians, a stellar caller, fabulous hosts (Peg & Joe), a wide & long (smooth!) porch dance floor to enjoy dancing in the cool of a June evening, furnished campsites (for those preferring not to use their own tent), extra sleeping bags, soothing melody of cricket serenading us through the night, fresh hot coffee served at the campsites, along with hearty breakfasts, lunches & dinners served in a splendid log cabin meeting hall. And yes, all in attendance are delightful cross-dancers (Contra & English Country).

If you haven't tried English Country, no worry; your Contra dancing is 8/10ths English Country!

This fine venue is located at a pleasant 7,000 feet elevation southeast of Flagstaff, providing evenings in the 40's and daytime temperatures in the low 80's-a wonderful place to cool down from the Las Vegas heat.

Orange County English Country Dancers
http://www.ocecd.sdecd.org/
A hop, skip and a jump from Las Vegas, this group dances on the 3rd Saturday of every month in Anaheim to live music. This group also introduced an annual Admiral Nelson Ball, scheduled for Jun 6, 2015

Portland Oregon Contra and English Dance Calendar
http://portlandcountrydance.org The Pacific Northwest is a wonderful place to cool off during the summer, or visit any time of the year, with lots of dancing and absolutely splendid, highly talented live bands to sweep you off your feet.

San Diego English Country Dancers
http://www.sdecd.org
Another reason to make the trip down I-15, we dance every Sunday in a lovely air-conditioned hall in Rancho Bernardo. In addition, we put on a New Year’s Tea Dance and a May Faire Ball every year. Visiting callers say that we're the friendliest & best dressed ECD Ball in the west. But you don’t have to take their word for it -- come and experience San Diego ECD for yourself.
(6 of San Diego's ECD members attended our Las Vegas Jane Austen Dance, held in May 2013, with four appearing at our most recent Dance in May 2015. We know they'd appreciate us returning the favor by taking an extended weekend out in San Diego and joining their Sunday dance, or future special dance event.)
